Picture Book Pets. An exhibition celebrating Book Week

Shannon is an emerging author starting out in her literature career. Last year she was listed for the Children’s Book Council of Australia Emerging Authors competition and is hoping soon to have a published work.

Working more as an author and artist rather than illustrator, Shannon creates a new painting for each story she is writing. On display in the hospital she is showing a vibrant acrylic work titled ‘and they danced up a storm’.
